hmm... everyday i will go on Nigerian blogs and read "Wizkid bought 14m naira car", " Tonto spent 3m naira on this", "Iyanya got a cheque of 50m Naira...". "Tunde bought a Posh for 25million, "Ebube took a trip and travelled the whole world and bought this and that Prada, LV, Hermes bag, Celine bag, louisb shoes,etc etc... It's one elaborate spending after the other. Showing up and showing off...Ah I'm not hating o! Im not saying they shouldnt enjoy their money..It's their money and they worked hard for it unlike our thieving politicians.
However down the line in 5 years... I don't want to see "Whizkid needs 2million Naira for Surgery please help donate".. Or "Tonto is homeless, she needs your help"...Which kind something be that? Shey years ago when the millions were flowing you guys gave me small to help a sister out? Again na their money o but now all of them dey ball, they should better invest in something that will Yield fruit. 'cos if you call me in 3-5yrs to "help our heroes past" I will direct you to Linda Ikeji's past blog posts so you can tell me why our heroes past really needed a 14million Naira suit or 40million Naira mansion.I know people who read Naija blogs will understand what I'm talking about.
